Massage is for more than injuries and sore muscles.

When people think of massage they frequently think of strained backs, shin splints, frozen shoulders and sciatica. Massage is great for injuries and bodily wear and tear, but it is good for so much more. Massage is an excellent tool for relieving anxiety and depression, insomnia, and fatigue. Modern society has in many ways stigmatized touch and as humans we suffer from lack of simple human contact. Quite simply, as a society we are touch-starved. Some more vulnerable communities are doubly so. Stress, trauma and tension collect in our bodies, creating soreness, knots, headaches, depression, tightness and strain. Massage helps, touch helps. Massage doesn’t just relax the body, it allows the body and mind to heal.

I offer integrative massage, combining a variety of modalities, as well as myofascial release techniques when appropriate, to create a massage that feels right for you. I have a memory foam table and deluxe memory foam face cradle for maximum comfort. Every 60 and 90 and 120 minute massage includes moisturizing massage creme, essential oils, and a hot towel treatment on the back and feet for a luxurious and relaxing spa experience, along with hot stones as needed. My massage creme contains extracts of arnica and ivy to ease pain and aid circulation, aloe to soothe skin, as well as coconut, almond, and kukui nut oils and vitamin E to make your skin feel soft and smooth, with little of the residue that typical massage oil leaves behind.

My Mission

My goal in my practice is to create a welcoming environment for EVERY body. Every client should feel at ease, safe, and comfortable in every way. I strive to relax each client to create a space where their muscles can heal, their energy is renewed, and their minds feel soothed and rejuvenated. As a member of the LGBTQ community, I strive to offer a safe space for every client to feel at home and to honor the needs and feelings of queer, transgender, enby folks, and every other friend in our community. Every body is welcome and every body is loved and respected.
