About Cranial Sacral Therapy

RECONNECT WITH YOURSELF…

Cranial Sacral Therapy is a form of bodywork used to treat a wide variety of conditions. Unlike classic massage therapy, the client is fully clothed during this treatment. Your 90 or 120 minute session will include a consultation to identify focus areas and post therapy recovery time.

CST is a gentle, hands-on modality that uses light touch to relieve the stress and pain caused by compression in the bones of the head, sacrum (a triangular bone in the lower back), and spinal column. The goal of treatment is to release restrictions in the craniosacral system, which has been shown to improve the function of the central nervous system, as well as many other systems of the body, such as digestive, musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory, and more.

CST is beneficial for conditions such as migraines and headaches, digestive issues, insomnia, fibromyalgia, neck pain, TMJ, trauma recovery including whiplash, depression/anxiety, PTSD, chronic pain, fascial adhesions, speech issues, side effects of cancer treatments, and much more.

Not recommended for clients with recent concussion, cerebral swelling, brain aneurysm, recent traumatic brain injury, blood clots, or disorders that cause instability of cerebral fluid.
